A beautiful Venetian wall light, handmade with finest white aventurine, complemented by an elegant pleated white shade, edged with gold braid. The fitting itself is also finished in gold.

Aventurine is a gorgeous, translucent, shimmering quartz.  The base is finished in gold. 

The glass masters of Murano often take their inspiration from the flora and fauna of the Venetian lagoon, and this lovely lamp, reminiscent of a bird on a perch, is a prime example of this.
